Spy Guy Secret Mission Set SPY EYE KIT, 13 Pieces

When My son opened this on Christmas morning he was ecstatic - while the gadgets are all there, they each have a very specific spy purpose - I don't even think I can tell you about it all unless you get it yourself. It's something my son tells me "unless you're a spy you just won't get it" and he tucked and rolled out of the living room. Hours of investigative work ensued and it cleans up and goes back into his backpack...it was a no brainer and has taken spying to a whole new level.

Ordered this at the last possible minute for my granddaughter to take to a birthday party for a boy in her class. It was promised a two day shipment, but actually arrived in only one day.....amazingly fast. It looked like something a 7 year old boy would enjoy, I love Amazon Prime....the no freight idea allows you to make a minimal purchase anytime you have the need.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It was made of cheap plastic and very poor quality. The side view "camera" was hardly usable as the image was distorted from the cheap imitation glass...and the fake lens so red that you could not see anything. The discs would not launch at all and the "glasses" that you supposedly were able to view from behind were a joke. They were a cheap set of glasses with an opening in the center (might as well not even have glasses on) and one tiny mirror in the front for rear viewing, which again was distorted. My daughter was disappointed and put in back in the box. Parents, do not waste your money. I bought this last minute without a chance to properly view what else was out there for a child interested in "spy" gear. Even though the set was only $20, it seemed as if it was a set worthy of belonging in a dollar store...where after discovering how bad it was...you would think, hey...it was only $2.00...not $20! Seriously. After looking further, I found that Alex toys carries a few items that are way better quality and more educational than the cheap, gumball machine toy that we received. We got this for my son's 8th birthday. He really enjoyed the camera and the glasses, and he had tons of fun with them. As with all toys the little disks got lost within minutes but, the other parts are still being played with weeks later.

It's just cheap plastic crap. It doesn't do anything it advertises. Don't waste your money. My 6 yr old was really disappointed with this one.

My 6 year old son was interested in this when he saw it on line. When I received it, my first thoughts were how cheaply made it was. It will suffice for the xmas present he wanted, but should be priced under $10.

This is such a cute toy! You know how kids love little details and gadgets to collect. My grandson was so into "spies" recently, and I got him a few, related toys. He loves this!
