Yes it’s a very cleansing soap. Leaves your skin feeling so fresh and soft.

It is definitely soap, not sure why it says lotion on the description. They carry lotion as well, so maybe they just didn’t change the description for the different listings.

I haven't tried the voconut, but I absolutely Love the African Black Soap for all over skin care and as a shampoo!
