The lights are great for kids. I gave each of my grand kids a light and they loved them. The lights are bright even when you use the dim setting. They really don't work well as flashlights because they don't project light out in front of you, but they work well inside the tent. They really are too bright for nightlights but my grand kids used them for that anyway. I didn't have any problems with the lights working, and the batteries lasted a long time.Fun product

These lights are nice because the first thing my kids do with a flashlight is shine them directly in each other's eyes. These have a nice glow for blanket forts. Even when they put them right up to their faces I don't feel like they are so bright that it hurts them. The batteries were a bit hard to put in, but they get left on all the time and we haven't had to replace them yet after three months.

We just go these and they have not been field tested. My son saw some in a store and asked for one for his tent (he is a Boy Scout). I found these on Amazon, 2 for the price of the one I saw at the store. We tried them out in the house and it appears they will provide plenty of light in a tent. Not enough to read by, but enough to be able to get in a sleeping bag or find something in a pack.

I received these and put batteries in them, one works great while the other not so bright. Not sure why but they are good enough for the little monsters I have for camping and hanging in the kid pods I bought them.

Super useful and handy at the same time. Bought these to use on our girl scout adventures. Made it nice to walk to the restroom location in the dark. Could hook them on to your pants and go. Three Settings low high and flashing. Bright but not overpowering LED lighting for a night walk in the woods.

great size & brightness

I bought these for my 5-year old granddaughter and they would be perfect for a child except for the fact that they have less than a half hook for attaching them to something.I tested them out, and they would be lost in no time.Since I wasn't a Prime member, returning them wasn't worth the expense.Now I have two tiny bulbs (they also require triple A batteries) that have no use.
