This is true Hot Paprika and the flavor was perfect.

Now I know why my Hungarian Grammy had this little can in her kitchen all the time!!! This stuff is terrific!!! I've only used it a few times but man a little shake will do you!!!!! And what that little shake tastes like is fantastic. It definitely has a bit of heat to it. I'm throwing out my store bought bottles immediately. I made the best Chicken Paprikas ever!!!!!!

To give you an idea of my perspective: Most wing places we've all heard of either don't have wings hot enough, or they're out to melt your face but offer no flavor in return. I enjoy things spicy enough to be in equilibrium of those situations.When I say this paprika is hot, I mean it. It's got a really good flavor to it though. Day 1 upon delivery, I mixed a tablespoon in with about a cup of Sweet Baby Ray's buffalo and it turned a good sauce into an excellent one.I'm looking forward to all the food I'm going to be making with this!

All I could find in the grocery store(s) was smoked paprika. It finally occurred to me to check Amazon and I'm so glad I did. I don't use a lot of paprika, but when I do, I want the good stuff!

Nice paprika flavor, but only maybe a 3 on the "hotness" scale that goes to 10 (Thai/Laos Hot).Save your money and use a sweet, mild paprika, plus some cayenne powder to bring up the heat.I've yet to find a truly "hot" Hungarian paprika available for sale in the US of A. (Hungary does indeed have some truly hot domestic chilies, as I can attest to by personal experience.)Added 2/13/20Well, I've grown to like this product a lot. It's not that I now think it's hotter than before, it's that I think I really like the deep paprika flavor. It adds a nice hotness bite, and along with it, a very nice flavor. It seems to go with everything. You just need to use enough.

Reminds me of the Hungarian Hot Paprika my folks would get when I was a kid in the 60's and 70's .Full flavor and Full aroma. Can't wait to do some chicken (:

I've used for years. Used to get locally. More flavorful than most brands.

I add it to almost everything. I love the heat that it adds. Good stuff
