Bigger isn't always better. But it's still great.
TL;DR: Well-made, great looking. Smaller people may prefer a smaller hammock. It's wide! This is my second hammock purchase, the first being an ENO double nest. The first things I noticed with the Bear Butt are the great-looking color (dark blue/charcoal) and the tough construction. Triple stitching all around. The fabric feels just as soft as the ENO, and the overall construction seems just as strong. I much prefer the way the ends are joined on the Bear Butt as well. ENO uses rope or cord tied inside the fabric, leaving a hard knob with hard rope edges inside. It doesn't affect your comfort, but good luck replacing one if the rope gets cut. The BB uses a strap that goes through the triple stitched channel on the end, for a simpler and better looking gathering knot. The included carabiners feel solid and heavy. I like the carrying bag better as well. The ENO has straps and buckles on it, which hang along with the bag. If you want to put the bag inside the hammock, you have hard plastic bits in there with you. Not the case with Bear Butt. The drawstring on the BB bag is thicker as well. I broke the ENO drawstring off the bag the first time I used it. I haven't and probably won't use the ropes for hanging the hammock, and straps are much preferred. However, it's great that they actually include a way to hang the hammock unlike ENO. The BB straps are still cheaper than eno straps, and come with 2 extra carabiners as well, so they're a good deal. As a smaller person, I found the extra width of the Bear Butt double to be a bit overkill. The width of my eno double feels just right. But if you're bigger, and especially with 2 people, the BB is probably the better choice. It has a higher weight limit too, so you can't go wrong. Make sure to set the hammock up with the right amount of sag when empty. Too much sag and it can be very hard to get comfortable, especially with the extra width (lots of fabric). This goes for any hammock though. These are longer than the eno, so you need trees that are farther apart. They recommend 12-15 feet as opposed to ENO's 9-10ft.

I love this hammock
This hammock is light and easy to set up... and almost as easy to pack back away. The hammock appears very well made and is more than big enough for my wife and me. The stitching is tight and even, the D-rings are robust, and the included cord is heavy enough to use instead of chain to help hang over longer spans. For camping, I do recommend picking up the tree straps and the netting to keep bugs from ruining the time spent (neither is part of this product). I especially like that the hammock is easy to hang for an afternoon and then put back away to keep weather from rotting it and the birds, squirrels, and various crawling things from claiming it. I'm impressed with this hammock and can easily recommend it.

Good product for the cost
The hammock seems very nice and is a good product for the cost. The tree attachments ropes are not anything special and aftermarket ones, as well as a rain fly, and bug net will be ordered. But it is a good start to a hammock camping solution that I will build on in the future. For the life of me I cant figure out why drop down option "kits" aren't offered bu the company's making these. They know the end goal is to have an expanded/upgraded suspension system, rain fly, and bug nets ect to actually put these to use. It seems like a huge hole in the marketing of these to mot take advantage combo deals with would allow forna single shipment cost and multiple items sold to each customer.
