Very informative as to the requirements of investigation. Very easy and quick read but at the same time balanced with good examples and references.

Good for purpose

The Everything Private Investigation book is a basic introduction to the field of Private Investigations, covering fields such as skip tracing through to Interviewing suspect. It should however be noted, that this book is only an introduction to the various fields available to Private Investigators and not a comprehensive training manual. One of the main drawbacks to this book is that the writer continually refers to the reader as she, which is slightly irritating. However this book is extremely comprehensive, referring to other sources of information and website which can greatly assist both P.I.'s and amateurs alike. All I can say is that this is one exceptional book and I recommend it to everyone.

A Great book for getting introduced to this field. Made me branch out and study all kinds of other spectrums of the P.I. field because it uncovers many different things. Information listed is above and beyond.

It wasn’t I hope for, but it did give me some information that was useful. Seems to be a little outdated as far as format.

I don't want to be a private investigator, but sometimes I do want to know how to learn a few things that which investigators know. This book will help anyone who believes they want to be a P.I.. It's a great tool, you will understand all they must learn and do to become one. My daughter uses this book as a constant guide for researching people she believes are identity thieves, she says that this book has helped her find ways to uncover a lot of information.

My 2 boys love this game and still play it quite often, the price was right and they are still using it, so it is wonderful and I will purchase again if there is something I need!!!!

While I am not yet a private investigator, I think this book gave a broad and enriching overview of the profession. I recommend this work to those who would like any introductory questions answered.

This is a overall great investigator book. Information on all proper investigation procedures. When you need great information on from starting or even being a certified investigator this is a book that can help everyone. Helpful tips on everything you will need to do a great job for yourself or for a customer. Overall a excellent book.

This is a well written book for anyone keen to do their own amateur sleuthing or to become a private detective or crime writer. Written by a lady who has been there and done the job for real, this book is packed with lots of useful information and techniques, although written for the US market, much is still applicable to the UK. A great read!
