Avène Hypersensitive Skin Starter Kit

I've purchased this Avene Hypersensitive Skin Starter Kit quite a few times now over the years. I highly recommend the facial lotion for anyone with sensitive skin. It has a creamy, not too thick consistency. It feels lightweight going on, absorbs fast and leaves your skin soft and moisturized..not feeling greasy. It's fragrance free and actually calms my skin. I have been using the Thermal Spring Water Spray for years and I love it. I always keep the larger 10 ounce bottle on hand, but the small bottle that's included with this starter kit is great for travel and/or to keep in your purse. You can spray on bare skin or over your makeup to set it. Fragrance free and perfect for dry climates. If you have allergic reactions where your skin feels burned this is heaven. I don't really use the cleanser, but I have tried it and had no reactions. It would be great for travel. The price point is a bit high on this kit, but the facial lotion and thermal water spray lasts me for at least a few months. When you have hyper-sensitive skin and find a product that works perfectly it's worth it.

My skin barrier is going bananas on me. I have creams potions and lotion from very basic gentle formulas like vanicream, cetaphil, cerave to next level k-beauty etude soon Jung, aestura(phenomenal), dr jart, la Roche posay, Paula’s choice, prequel and remedy, is clinical all the way up to 300$ fancy schmancy potions like la prairie caviar line, bio-effect, tata harper fragrance free (the BEST from that line), sulwahsoo Just so you know what brands I’ve tried and that I am saying this is hands down the nicest face wash and light, hydrating lotion I have ever used. My skin is so soft and comfortbale and this performs like my higher end- feels like revive texture. Very dry skin will likely want to upgrade to the balm for more hydration but combo oily friends will love this combo. I didn’t dislike the spray, but I didn’t love it either. I think it could be great as a first or last step taking off makeup/sunscreen. Also the face wash says to just wipe it off not wash it off— I wash it off then follow with the lotion. Inudually use a toner after face wash. The aestura is phenomenal- highly recommend.

Sometimes I just need to reset my skin and use gentle non-irritating products. This set is perfect. The thermal water spray is the BEST. I travel with it and it always keeps my skin calm. And hydrated.

This kit was the only thing that saved my skin due to stress and diet. My original regimen made my skin very reactive but this helped A LOT! Definitely recommend.

If you have sensitive skin this product is for you!!! I have acne rosacea and very sensitive skin. I have spent so much money on skin care products that claimed to be for sensitive skin but made my face worse. I had completely given up on my skincare regimen until I came across this brand. I told myself that this would be the last thing that I tried and I am so glad that I did. I have not had any irritation with any of these products and my face looks and feels so much healthier. It soothes the irritation, redness, burning and dryness from my rosacea. My face has never been so soft and moisturized. My dermatologist recommends this brand and it is safe to use with my prescription cream for rosacea. I am not the one to usually write reviews but I had to for these products. They are wonderful and worth the money!

Great for my very sensitive skin. Took this and another set on a trip to a place that leaves my skin drier than usual but this helped to avoid that. Kept my skin soft and very hydrated so much that I didn’t need to use face masks. I was able to also try a product that I’ve never used and fell in love
