I bought for my twins’ nursery. My only complaint was the challenging assembly at 33 weeks pregnant. It came with an Allen wrench and a small screw driver. I had to use my small electric drill. It took me about 5+ hours to assemble so definitely not an easy task but I am a tad disabled right now lol. I’m not sure if the shelves have changed but I had to first screw in a large rectangle into a circle base, so a little awkward unless you have help. Then you have to screw in two smaller rectangles to create the x shape. The last part are the small arched book holder pieces which require 3 screws. Then repeat the process 4 times. I just want people to be aware that the assembly might not be as easy as others mentioned. The bookshelf is definitely worth my hands being sore. I was surprised at the quality of wood for such an affordable bookshelf. I think it will be a great piece of furniture the girls can use for many years.

Real wood. Simple to put together (Allen wrench and screws). Sturdy. I may have to add a bit of WD-40 so it spins a little smoother but other than that I’m very happy with this shelf!

Very simple to assemble. You will need a specific-sized (or smaller) books required. Sturdy and estthetically pleasing.

This bookcase has became a very special gift and I love it so much. My son-in-law assembled it for me and didn't have any issues. My grandson gave it to me for a Christmas gift and it is working perfect. Having limited space for one really made this one perfect. I have the pine finish and love it since it is not dark. Makes my room lighter. Thank you for making it available.

This is a pine shelf unit so I stained it to match my furniture. All the pieces fit extremely well and it holds a ton of books. One of the best purchase I have made.

What fun and a space-saver! This bookcase is just beautiful! It took my husband hours to put it together though because the directions aren't that great. But he got the hang of it and it's a beauty. I loved putting my books in it. It swivels easily, has more space that I realized and is super sturdy, too. I never took time to stain it, but I love the natural oak color so I may just leave it as it is. It's a fun break from the same-old-same-old traditional bookcases we've all had in the past.
