I am hooked on all of the books by Alex Kava and particularly on the Maggie O’Dell and Ryder Creed characters.I have read just about everything she has written and am on book 8 of the Ryder Creed series. This book in the series is just as gripping as the rest. Keeps you hungry to keep reading until the very end and leaves you wanting more, as do all of her books. Won’t spoil the story in my comments but all I can say is that once you start you won’t be able or want to put it down. You won’t be disappointed. I would recommend reading the books in order if at all possiblefor the most enjoyment and immersion as they are action packed.

Great plot with even greater characters leads one along into dramatic conclusion. S story for those who love mystery, crime and dogs.

Yet another cracker from Alex Kava. I started reading her books right from the beginning when she released ‘A Perfect Evil’ and have waited eagerly for each new one to be released. When she moved away from the Maggie and Tully partnership to begin the Ryder Creed series, I was initially disappointed but now love the Creed books. This one doesn’t disappoint. Great serial killer plot and Grace steals the show again, a little scent dog with a huge talent and even bigger personality. I love the relationship developing between Ryder and Maggie! I can’t recommend Alex’s books enough!

I love this series. I wish the author could write faster! They are fast paced stories of murder and mayhem but all the worse side of humanity is overcome by the miracle of working dogs.

Straight away you get drawn into the story and the lives of the characters. Alex is an amazing author and I can't wait for her next book.

The very best of all the great books in this series, a little gruesome but what _/l11.fun. This has been the best K-9 series I have read. Just enough romance, human interest, and a.lot of mystery and suspense for excellence. K-9 lovers especially will love these books. 🐕🐶🐅

Loved the story line and characters. Edge of your seat suspense, real life issues and incredible dogs made this a great read. I plan on looking up other books in this series. Well done Alex Kava!!

j'ai lu tant bien que mal en anglais tous les romans de Creed et je les ai tous beaucoup aimes. Dans chaque histoire ,les relations entre personnages évoluent et chaque histoire permet d'approfondir un personnage. Ici, c'est Brodie qui se révèle plus forte et plus intuitive et mature que Creed ne la voit. Jason est un atout essentiel de l'équipe .La famille chien est toujours aussi fantastique et on accueille un nouveau venu. Cette histoire, je l'ai dévorée en quelques heures comme les autres et j' attends avec impatience septembre pour lire le nouvel opus que j'ai déjà précommandé. Votre amour et connaissance des chiens est tellement instructif réconfortant et optimiste vu le nombre d'abandons records en France. Vos livres sont un baume au cœur et une réjouissance, Continuez cette série car vous êtes un remède contre la morosité ambiante!

Once a book has my attention I have to read any and all in the series. I get to know all the characters and enjoy the lives they lead. I feel I know them well enough that they become my friends. So thanks for adding to my tribe of people that i cannot get enough of.

I just finished book 6 in the Ryder Creed series and bought the next two books. I love seeing the characters develop more and more in each book.Dogs!! Who doesn’t love a book with dogs! Grace, Scout, Bolo, and the others. Would love to have more dogs involved with Ryder in other books. It’s fascinating what scent dogs can do. Thanks Alex for doing all the research!Oh, and mystery! Each book has me guessing and I’m always surprised!
