Very simple book with limited text and finger puppet that is attached. Using your index finger you bob the bat's little head. Very cute. (I would've given it 5 stars but the book arrived with a larger black marker dot.)

Our baby boy loves it. Not much to ead but he is completely taken by the puppet and is trying to grab it.

The finger puppet is very cute but the book itself is not very challenging. The illustrations are practically the same on all pages. I'm sure my 10 month old nephew will enjoy it but it's not the most exciting thing to read!

my son had to dress up for book day at school and wanted to use the bat costume he had for Halloween, however we were advised had to be a book character, so went looking and found this book. my son loved the book so much , he takes it with him everywhere and makes his own stories up using the puppet in the book.Now all his friends want to be a bat.

I just love finger puppets! This book is quite cute -- and a crowd pleaser, if my first grade class is any group to judge by. They adored it!
