Works great
It is really good itself. Quiet. Does not get warm. Does not vibrate etc. It comes in with all possible plugs I could think of as well which can be easily changed which is AMAZING. The software is simple to understand and so far, worked well. It has 1 semi-con and one real con. Semi-con - It is really heavy for how small it is. Not that you wont be able to lift it but surprisingly heavy. REAL con is the BLUE LIGHT on the front. It is extremely strong and cannot be turned off. You either have to cover it, paint it over or disassemble the device and somehow remove the led. Not only its constantly ON but it also rapidly flashes every now and then and when PC/Laptop is off, it will be off BUT it will still do that occasional flashing for no reason. So far it worked without any problems and the storage is big so that is fine. It mostly just comes to that damn light. It has its own software but you cannot disable the light which is sort of silly. Would be little better if it was not for the BRIGHT BLUE colour of it...

Uso il LaCie d2 Professional da 10 TB da oltre 3 anni per il mio lavoro da fotografo, e posso dire senza alcun dubbio che è il miglior hard disk esterno mai provato. Affidabile, veloce e silenzioso: un vero compagno di lavoro quotidiano. Dopo tre anni di utilizzo intenso, il primo funziona ancora perfettamente, senza un singolo problema. Proprio per questo ho deciso di acquistarne un secondo per ampliare il mio archivio e continuare a usarlo come sistema di backup principale. La velocità è costante, anche con file RAW molto pesanti o progetti video: si arriva facilmente a oltre 250 MB/s reali in lettura e scrittura. Il design in alluminio spazzolato è bellissimo, solido e si integra perfettamente con l’ambiente di lavoro. Inoltre resta sempre stabile e silenzioso, anche dopo ore di uso continuo. 💾 In sintesi: - Affidabilità assoluta nel tempo - Prestazioni costanti e velocissime - Costruzione premium in alluminio - Perfetto per Mac, PC e iPad Ideale per fotografi, videomaker e chi lavora con file grandi Io lo uso per lavorare i cataloghi di lightroom e non rallenta quasi mai, a volte succede ma ovvio, non si può paragonare ad un ssd 👉 Conclusione: dopo anni di utilizzo posso dirlo con certezza: LaCie d2 Professional è semplicemente il migliore hard disk esterno in circolazione. Talmente buono che ne ho preso un altro. 💪
