Q: Can you play with these like with little dolls or are they just really for looks?

You could use it to play with but 1. You can't take off the roof, and 2. The dolls would need to be less than 3 " tall. Fyi it is fairly durable

Q: What kind of battery and glue do you use?

Hi there ! Most of these kits use button batteries. Sometimes a triple A or a double A. Each one is different. It will say in the instructions. As for the glue... I use the silicone glue I purchased from Amazon. I've tried using many different kinds. The silicone glue sets up just right. But you have to only use a very small amount , as it does ooze out easily.. I also use it to make water effects for the little kitchens ie... like coming out of the faucet into the sink etc. I hope this helps.
