Is this what bowlers use on their shoes to help their slide?

I haven't seen many bowlers using this on their shoes, but I bet that it can be used for that purpose. Most use it for sweaty hands while playing sports. Softball or Baseball pitchers, bowlers, tennis players, etc.

There is no country of origin on the plastic cover. Just a big 'R' for Rawlings. Probably Chinese rosin dust. Works fine. If it was made in the USA, it would likely be a couple of dollars more.
