Bought a pack of 5 for my crew at the fire station. We use this in combination with a weighted vest for workouts. We all noticed improved fitness, especially VO2 max improvements. Breathing an SCBA during training or structure fires is simple, compared to the blast mask. Recommend this for all fire departments.

The media could not be loaded. The TRAININGMASK Firefighter XRT PRO 2.0 works as intended but does have a terrible whistling noise on exhale which does get annoying but besides that great product. Clip for mask lock looks fragile so be careful mine hasn’t broken but looks like over use or to forceful will break it.

Great product. Starting doing some light HIIT work and some higher volume trading with weights using it. It definitely simulates being on air, if anything it seems more restrictive which should help even better. I bought this because I’m just getting into industrial firefighting and wanted something to help acclimate for fire school. well worth the money. Only con; it fogs up pretty quick, which I guess could simulate working in limited visibility situations?

The media could not be loaded. The clip broke immediately and seems to be facing the wrong way. It does make a whistling noise when using that may bother most people but if you're using for training you aren't even bothered by it because you're focused on other things. My husband who is a firefighter instructor is recommending this to his students who aren't confident in wearing their SCBA. This is a great invention but there's definitely room for improvement. Easy to use. Minus the clip breaking it fits in Scott AV3000.

This thing is a great tool for working on better breath control and lung conditioning. It has 6 openings that can be changed just by twisting the cap. It can be a little difficult to get on just because you attach it to the scba mask like a regulator and it wants to twist the settings rather than slide into position, but other than that it is a solid, well-built tool. Way cheaper than a blast mask and even fully open the resistance is stronger. Save yourself some money and pick this up!
