Capri Tools Locking Welding Clamp, 3 Pieces

Very surprised at the quality of these tools. Very durable. Well made. I use for a variety of small welding projects, and they hold up fine. Good fins!

So far in 2025 they still work great. I only do small projects around the house.

Bought these to get kitted up for welding and fabricating and they are a great entry level (read: inexpensive) set of locking pliers. They clamp hard and feel mostly solid although the jaws dont fit exactly flush with each other on the flat pliers. Not an issue at all though, and they hold pieces TIGHT! Easy to use and feel like great quality, I wouldn't pass these up

For all intent and purposes these would be 5 stars for value of dollar in the expectation that they are seldom used and NOT a professional set by any means UNLESS the user understands that these are delicate and would NOT be able to handle being thrown around or trusted to hold to a high degree in longevity. With that being said, I rate these a five out of four, simply because I'm a noob, in the welding realm and rather focus on the skill set more so and not in the high end tools that tend to be over valued at times. I do believe in quality, but even for my first car, I went cheap and stayed away from the Bugatti. I spent twenty dollars on these and would have done close to thirty. I'm bought expecting flex deviation and possible as with many vises and occasional slip out or two, but nothing to discourage me again in buying them again

I was surprised at the quality of these. They are very solid and tight. I've purchased other cheap clamps before because hey, sometimes you really don't need a lot of beefiness or quality for clamps, and I got what I paid for – sloppy loose feeling clamps. These are NOT like that at all. Good buy.

If you're doing any kind of welding, you need clamps. Lots of clamps in different configurations. This is a pretty decent deal, a good price and they work as well as some of my more expensive clamps. Will they last as long? Time will tell. For now I'm happy with my purchase. They arrived quickly and in good condition.

These have some weld splatter on them and get pretty hot holding things together. However they are holding up well, and for the price - they are a good product.

Cheap finish, but they work just as good as pricier Irwin vicegrips for what I do. They don't lock up like other cheap clamps such as Mastercraft or Hardware store branded tools.
