Excellent, so easy to use & great value

I got these for birdwatching and they are a very flexible solution. I already have a pair of good binoculars but wanted some decent light weight ones to carry with my camera. The extra appeal with these binoculars is the zoom function.The weight is about half that of my other bins, so I'm happy with that. The image quality at the 8mm end is comparable to my existing bins, although with a smaller front element. I find them easy to focus, although the focus ring feels far forward.I don't like that there is no protection for the front elements since there are no lens caps. A lens cap is provided for the eyepiece though.When zoomed to maximum, the image quality is not as good as zoomed out but to me this is an acceptable compromise. These binoculars are far cheaper than buying a spotting scope and are a fraction of the size and weight. For my needs they are perfect.I had bought a pair of Hawke 8x34mm bins at the same time as these but I sent them back because the Nikons offer much more flexibility because of the zoom function.It's easy to use the zoom. I find it easiest to focus while zoomed out then zoom in as required and just fine-tune the focus again. Like I said, easy!

These binoculars are actually better than described.Great value for money and good quality binoculars.

I bought these binoculars because I was struggling with holding my bigger ones,well I'm glad I did,I'm amazed how powerful these are clarity of vision is really good one you've sussed the zoom it takes a little wile to get used to but we'll worth it,I still love my other bigger nikons but these are well worth the money yer deffo recommend

FANTASTIC!!!!!I was going to go out on a cruise ship and watch the tall ships parade I didn't want to take my huge $700 binoculars that weighs close to 5 pounds ..... I wanted something small to hang around my neck all day...... the reviews seemed good and it was zoomable and on sale for $129.99 ... I figured what could I lose .... so I bought them.around the yard they were really impressive I could zoom in on a leaf 300 feet away and it was quite clear!I took them out on the ship and was shocked at how well they performed.... many people on the ship were using telephoto lenes on their camera but could not see what I was seeing... with the naked eye I could see the old beautiful ships and it was great... but with these binoculars I could zoom in and read the ships name... I could see all the men in the crows nests and standing on the sail arms.... I zoomed all the way to 24X and I could see the men were wearing striped shirts and had mustaches ... I could see their faces and even see their lips moving..... this was absolutely beyond belief!!!!I started telling people near me look at the gold leaf on the side of the ship.. look at the bow they have a mermaid for a gold figurehead.... no one else could see it.. when the ships were tiny dots on the horizon these binoculars allowed me to see the ships flags so I knew the next ship was a French ship or a Swedish ship .... it gave me the most enjoyable day.... all those other poor saps only saw a fraction of those beautiful tall ships.the binoculars were light and hung around my neck for 12 hours.... they didn't bother me at all... very light and easy to carry!if you're on the fence. BUY THEM!!!!!

Very compact and worth.

Ottimo binocolo, compatto con leva per lo zoom 8X24 e una buona nitidezza.Alla massima estensione richiede mano ferma. Ho preferito pagarlo un poco di più ed affidarmi alla Nital che è il distributore ufficiale del marchio Nikon.Sono pienamente soddisfatto.

Compact binoculars that are easy to focus with enough zoom for most viewing. The clarity of the image is excellent especially compared to some cheaper ones I checked out.
