It works, it is OK, tested, but the onlythink you should know that it has restrictions: no tethering available (you can't share internet, but sometimes it yes works) you can't use it longer then 1 months with 1 sim as they offer this deal for UK customers and if they see that sim card didn't connected in UK for a long time so they just send text that they stop deal so you will pay regular rate> for France it is£0.04 / minute / sms / mb and bundles are not valid

3 UK Pay as You Go topup credit never expires. However, if the phone is not used for 6 months, you sim card will be deactivated and your phone number lost.

I don't think so (but am not sure) - the best way to text a US number while using this card in the UK is probably though Google Voice or WhatsApp.
