Using this in a safe and it works great to light up the whole thing. It was easy to set up and love the motion so it comes on as soon as I open the door.

I strung this up along the door frame inside our closet that doesn't have a light. Now when you open the door it lights up the entire area. Very nice. The batteries have lasted longer than I expected.

These lights are great for a pantry or closet. I love that they're motion activated and run off battery, nothing to turn on, plug in or recharge!! So far they works great! Remember to position the light strip so you can place the sensor near the door, so when you open it, it triggers the lights to go on. 😉

I really like these lights. I bought two to cover a staircase. The only issue I ran into is that if I set both sensors to only come on at night, only one of them works. The light is bright enough from one that it tricked the other sensor into thinking it was daytime and the other sensor wouldn't turn on. So I had to set one to always turn on day or night and the other is only nighttime. This works great, but it does mean the one that activates day or night burns through batteries much faster. Still, the quality of the lighting (I mounted it underneath the stair hand rail) is excellent and I'm willing to put up with the battery changes. I knocked it one star because it would be nice to be able to adjust the sensitivity of the sensors.

I received these to light up a two metal cabinet. I followed the instructions and cleaned all the surfaces with isopropyl alcohol, then mounted the strip lights to the interior of the cabinets. The results exceed my expectation and looked great. The next day, both steps had all fallen down. I don't plan on going through the hassle of returning these and I'm going to use some double stick tape to fix this issue. Update: a couple of days after I "fixed" the adhesive issue part of the one of the light strips stopped working. Now I have a dark area at the born let of my cabinet. I would not recommend these lights.

This is a helpful addition to closets. I open the closet door and suddenly have light. It’s nice that it takes AA batteries because I always. Have those around. It was easy to set up, all adhesive, including the battery/motion sensor unit. I’m putting this in all of my unlit closets. You can set the timeout function to 20 or 60 seconds. I find 20 is enough for closet use. The length is enough to provide low light to the closet. The price is reasonable. It’s much more economical than the alternative of having an electrician install lighting.

I purchased the Battery Operated Motion Sensor Strip Lights, and while they were easy to set up, they didn’t work well for me. Each unit requires three batteries, and the weight of the power box caused the strip to pull down. If you’re working with a completely flat, non-porous surface, they might stay in place, but most areas where you’d want to use them don’t meet that condition. There was also no option to secure the strip with push pins, magnets, or anything else. I ended up returning them and would not purchase them again.

Easy to install and setup. Worked well for a little while. The batteries ended up corroding and device stopped working. Replaced batteries and works like new again. Wish there was a light sensitivity adjustment

Great lights for our closet I made into a pantry. No power..no light so I ran 2 of them..1 on each side. The motion detection when opening the door is awesome!
