Esse hub, quando usado em conjunto com um Mac Studio, entrega o que promete. Possui tamanho idêntico ao Mac (comprimento e largura), a porta do compartimento onde vai o HD (HD de 2.5" somente. No meu caso, estou usando um de 2TB) é presa com parafusos (vem no pacote uma pequena chave Philips para apertar/desapertar esses parafusos) e os ports de comunicação funcionam sem problemas. O pequeno cabo USB-C (nas duas extremidades) possui um comprimento adequado para a interligação entre o Mac e o hub seja feita sem que fio cabo sobre a bancada de trabalho, restando somente um pequeno loop de cabo que não atrapalha em nada a organização do local. Recomendo.

I ordered this expansion unit almost two years (663 days) ago. Unlike other reviews you may read, this is based on extended experience.I bought this accessory because I needed a second (2nd) monitor on my MACmini (M1 chip). I got the desired monitor functionality -- and the ability to support two (2) internal hard drives. I added those hard drives and they support my TimeMachine Backup -- in a form that I can "unplug and take with me" if needed.It is also nice to have "ports" on the front of my system -- where I can easily get to them.The only "down-sides" are the tendency for the unit to occasionally come unplugged and the close spacing on the USB Ports I sometimes need to use a short USB extension cable because "wide" devices won't fit side-by-side on the available ports. Also, it "sucks up" all of the HighSpeed USB capability attached to it with the monitor and the hard drives, leaving only the slower forms of USB available on its external connectors. That, of course, is an artifact of the way the MAC Hardware works, not a fault with this particular device per se.If I knew someone with similar expansion needs, I would not hesitate to suggest they consider this device.

When adding hard drives in the cabinet the speeds are super slow. I do not know why. Even using both of the USB-C cables does not help.

Ik ben erg ongelukkig met het apparaat. Ik heb het gekocht om er een SSD-harde schijf in te plaatsen en een NVME M2 Samsung SSD. Na meer dan drie dagen sukkelen omdat de SSD zogezegd word uitgeworpen, alles geprobeerd om dit te laten werken (aangesloten met 2 Thunderbold 4 USB C kabels, die dan ook meer dan genoeg voeding geven aan de hub), kan ik zeggen dat het niet goed gaat, een van de schijven, en soms beide, wordt uitgeworpen als je iets intensief probeert te kopiëren. Ik heb ook geprobeerd een van de poorten extern van stroom te voorzien, zoals aangegeven in de handleiding, maar deze is nog steeds onstabiel. Het is zelfs nog erger als de kopie afkomstig is van een kaart of een andere externe schijf die aan de voorkant is aangesloten op de interne schijf. Nu ga ik op zoek naar een andere betere hub, en heb alles terug verzonden naar Amazon.

Ce Hub apporte au Mac mini ce qu'il lui manquait: des ports USB supplémentaires et les ports pour carte SD et micro SD.De plus, la possibilité d'y joindre 2 disques durs est top. J'y ai mis 2 SSD de 2 To chacun et cela complète parfaitement le système (1 To au départ sur la Mac mini).La seule petite critique est le fait que la teinte ne soit pas exactement la même que celle du Mac, mais c'est juste histoire de pinailler.
