I wear this cover over my walking boot. I had foot surgery a little over 5 weeks ago. Take care of your feet because foot surgery is the worst! Anyway, if you’re reading this, you’ve got something going on with your lower extremities. So, sorry for that. This cover fits nicely over the boot. I have a medium boot and purchased the large cover. It’s a nice and tight fit. I have only worn the cover twice. It was in the earlier weeks of recovery when I wasn’t really putting my foot down much and it was fine. To be fair, I have not walked around in it full weight bearing. It was icy one of the times I was out with it and I was super scared. It felt very slippery. I had my crutches and my husband but I still wouldn’t be comfortable in this if there was potential for ice or black ice. Snow would be better. I go back to work in 6 days so I may need to wear this over the boot to get into work if it’s rainy or snowy for another week or so... depending on how nice my surgeon is feeling about me transitioning to shoes. If it was icy I’d probably just wear the boot uncovered for the traction on the bottom. I certainly think this cover is a great value and does well enough. It’s helpful when you’re in a not to helpful situation. It helps when you have a leg or foot out of the game that you’d like to keep dry. I would imagine a downpour and heavy snow would go right through the cover but certainly for a quick walk to and from inside it’s fine. I think if you were walking a few blocks or a mile this would eventually come apart over time. Which isn’t unreasonable as it’s just a cover. It will certainly also keep your boot clean and debris away from the lower openings.

You need this!!!! Unfortunately I’ve needed a boot a couple times before and I hate the thought of wearing my boot inside if it’s been out in the world stepping on god knows what. I found myself out in BFE whilst in a boot after a week long of rainstorms. It ended being a mud bath and I was filthy at the end of the day, but my dang boot stayed clean. This thing has even gone to Mexico with me while I was stuck in a post op shoe. I walked around in the sand no problem. It’s held up to torrential rain. I’ve washed it in the sink and it holds up well, dries quickly and it’s lasted me multiple uses from 2022-25. Slip resistant, durable thick material , fits my medium size post op shoe and boot (I’m a shoe size 8). Now it’s ugly as hell but it can’t get much worse than the boot, can it. 10/10 recommend.

I had to where a walking boot because of a severely sprained ankle. I was told to wear my boot inside and out. Ewww... I am a take your shoes off at the door before coming in the house kind of person. I would actually put a bag over my boot when going outside. Imagine how happy I was to find this shoe cover on Amazon. It looked great and I could just slip it off before coming in the house. I was skeptical how durable it would be but to my surprise and delight it held up till the very end. It is still in great shape. I even wiped the bottom with Clorox wipes quite a few times. I like how easy it was to use, the look, the quality, the price, and durability of this product. I was very happy with my purchase and would recommend this product. If you or a family member are in a boot and a clean freak like me, or you just want some extra boot protection from the elements you can not go wrong with this. Happy healing!

At first glance I was pretty happy with this cover. Size was good and it did the job. But one month in and it is already torn. I wear it almost every day when I have to leave the house to avoid getting my boot dirty. I have another 2 months wearing the recovery boot so I’ll be buying a different one, in hopes that it is more durable. This one might be ok for limited use.

Works well and keeps foot dry. Holding up surprisingly well. Saw reviews that it wears out too quickly but that doesn't seem to be the case for me.

I’ve been in a walking boot for several weeks. Since we don’t wear shoes in the house, every time I came in from outside, I had to vigorously clean the bottom of my walking boot. That got old fast, so I searched Amazon to see if there was some kind of a solution. I found this product and ordered it immediately. It’s well-made (USA) and a large fits my size medium walking boot perfectly. I wouldn’t use this outside to walk long distances, but to go out to water plants or go to the mailbox, it’s perfect. I wound up buying a second one since I have to wear my boot at night and don’t really want to wear it uncovered in bed. I was using a king size pillowcase to cover up my boot while sleeping, but this is a much better-and safer-option. Yes, it looks like a shower cap, but it’s not like a walking boot is all that stylish! (On a side note, if your walking boot gets loose and you need additional foam padding to take up the slack, try aquarium filter foam! Inexpensive and Amazon has all sizes and thicknesses available.)

I have to wear a walking boot for at least the next month. This is a first for me, so it's been hard because I live on a farm and have lots of outdoor chores to do, boot or no boot. Because I'm supposed to wear it all the time it was very annoying every time I had to go outside to work as I didn't want to get the bottom of the boot dirty, then wear it in the house. I was using garbage bags over the boot, twisting the top tight and securing it to the top lip of the boot with a large paper clamp. By the time I would get done with chores the bag often had holes in the bottom and the boot was dirty anyway. I was thrilled to find this boot cover, but skeptical that it could withstand the harsh environment of the farm. Gravel walks, cement barn floors, wet pastures, etc., but it was worth a try. I am very pleased to say the boot cover is working great. It is holding up well, easy for me to put on and take off and can be washed. I love it, and best of all.......no more clumsy trash bags.

High denier, sturdy woven fabric, very well made and durable. The size L fits perfectly on my size M AirCast, and is easy to put on and take off. Has been protecting my foot from snow, ice, and salt. Would highly recommend.

I bought this cover for two reasons - to protect my boot when I went outside, and to keep my boot from transferring dirt and debris from outside into the house. Before the cover I had to clean the underside of the boot every time I came back home, as I also had to wear it in the house. The cover made it much more convenient - just remove the cover when you enter your home, and you are good to go inside. I wish I had bought it sooner!

First, the cover is very easy to put on. Secondly, the material is of good quality. This surprised us. And finally, it protects the boot from rain and snow and is a good shield against the winter cold.
