I genuinely love their coffee — it’s always fresh, smooth, and full of flavor without being bitter. Every cup tastes like it was made with real care If you love high-quality coffee, you can’t go wrong here.

So far this is the best Amazon coffee I’ve bought. People are upset that it doesn’t have a roast date but Amazon or blue bottle isn’t a local coffee shop, it’s a big corp . it’s a bit obvious to me that they wouldn’t roast their coffee fresh. With that being said this is the best store bought coffee I’ve had it’s super fragrant and caramely im very impressed!

Ode to joy! Blue Bottle is honestly one of the best coffee brands I've ever tried. I love me a latte. You might even call me a coffee snob, which sucks, because I'm not a snob I'm from Seattle. Totally different thing. Anyway, the price on this is right. Blue Bottle is from LA. Of the many things I hated about LA, Blue Bottle was not one of them. I loved to stop at the Fairfax location. There's a smoothness to their brew that is really top notch. I'm also a Vita, Vivace and Stumptown fan, so if we have similar tastes, I'd encourage you to try Blue Bottle. (I also liked the street food in LA and how the fires made the sunset pretty, but smelled like plastic and broken dreams.)

Probably my favorite medium roast coffee. Will repurchase for sure.

A good coffee

I purchased a bag of the "Balanced" roast which is said to be medium/light. The flavor was more medium/dark. I don't like dark roasted coffee, so this was kind of a letdown. I didn't think to save the bag to check the date, but the coffee also tastes bitter and stale to me. The beans themselves seem to be of questionable quality, as there are many broken pieces in the bag. Maybe I got the bottom of the batch. This is not the worst coffee I've tasted, but it most certainly is the the best. I really hate being wasteful, but I am literally having a difficult time finishing the bag. I'm considering dumping the rest and moving on to my preferred brand, which costs about the same. It is rare that I write a bad review, but I feel this needed to be said.
