A wonderfully weighty hunk of plastic
This is without question one of the best figures in the Marvel Legends Line. It's solid and weighty. It feels like it weighs as much as my Die Cast Iron Man Igor figure. Standing at almost 9 inches it towers over teh 6" figures with a commanding presence. And I think it is almost entirely painted. Not simply molded in color. Aside from the hands and joints most surfaces feel painted.Articulation is iffy. His elbows and knees are only single jointed and only have about 45 degrees. But that comes from the core design of the character. He kind of moves and feels like a halfway decent Gokin. Just without any actual metal. Not that I'm complaining. With metal it would never stand up.The rocket effects look great. But trust me you don't have a flight stand capable of holding this thing up. Certainly not those official Hasbro ones. Maybe if you have one of the "Router-Style three post adjustable acrylic stands? But those are expensive and are getting much harder to find.

Great Quality
I wish they made more of this line - the quality and articulation of the joints makes for an engaging figure. The weight and details on this one really distinguish it from other cheaper mono-pose figures. Will be keeping lookout for others in this line as keen to get more for my son.

Cool but
Off the bat this guy is cool big beefy but that's where alot of my problems come from. He's so heavy no normal stand will take, if you want flying pose you'll need more than one figma stand or something beefier like gundam master or high grade stand. However there are no stand holes in his back or groin and is groin is thick wide so gundam adapter don't fit.Next issue is his backpack, it doesn't fit in tightly. It stays in standing but touch it or lean back you'll see it fall off or come loose. There's same issue with thrusters, they'll move at slightest touch. What I do like are the joints there heavy ratchet, his limbs will not move unless you move them.I'm glad I got him. he's big stand out on my shelf. I just need find stand that can hold him

Step-by-step, a day-by-day…
Really a great figure, a bit expensive for a deluxe figure, but with prices from Hasbro increases, a definite “buy now” while it’s a lower price.Big Iron Man fan, even though it’s of the “What If?” series, still a great suit to add to a Hall of Armor. One thing I do caution the owners of such a fine suit, the rungs/steps on the suit are of a very soft plastic, they do have a little give, but too much tension and you’ll see the connection points slowly become white due to stressing.

Stomp them hydra
Now you can Stomp hydra from home, you do have to imagine a little pre serum steve rogers inside , but it looks good and stands nicely , needs a strong stand to get it flying .
