According to another website, Yes Made in China, and material described as Ceramic (not Stoneware), so with Ceramic Lead Leaching could be an issue depending if they used a Lead-Free Glazing process on the Ceramic. That info I have not been able to find. Mugs from China can be fine if Glazing is Lead-Free, or they are the Stoneware (high temp firing) type of Ceramic.
