The serrated knives are the most impressive. They have a pointed tip and are sharp. They could double for everyday steak knives. Nice weight on each utensil and each came wrapped individually in a plastic sleeve. The fork tines are a little pointy; not rounded. Depending on your preference, this is good or bad. The elastic holds each piece in place well. Very firm. The case looks nice. It's basically thick, solid cardboard, not wood, but the faux-wood finish looks real. A small piece of the case was bent and unfurling at the inside seam, but barely noticeable. On the outside there are impressions from the force of the elastic bands tugging on the cardboard. The only reason it is not a five is the storage case could be sturdier and I'd prefer more forks than spoons (not a coffee drinker.) But I purchased this knowing how many forks it had. It is a very great buy for the price. It would make a nice housewarming gift for someone in their first apartment. I will keep mine stored in the case with each use as long as it holds up.

Before I get into utensils details, I'll say that for the price, it doesn't get better than this when it comes to size, material, number of pieces and presentation. This silverware set is definitely better than the one I have now, so with that in mind, I'll say it's an ok silverware set. There are several things that I wasn't impressed with, but I'll keep it anyway. I was hoping to find this in a set of 6 instead of 4 so I actually bought two boxes to have a bigger set. Both sets arrived in a single Amazon box with a single layer of thin bubble wrap, and although they arrived intact, I didn't think this was wrapped properly, hence multiple reviews reporting damaged box.First of all, the storage box is just terrible and not functional so I don't expect it to last very long with use or to be used at all in my case. It's made of double thin plywood and it's glued together. The glue is visible in corners and the entire box looks shiny and feels like a cheap plastic rather than a wooden box that's supposed to hold utensils. The closure clasp is useless as it doesn't keep the box closed, just sort of slides and flips around. Even when closed, the box has a gap on the sides. I bought two sets and both are the same in this regard so I assume they are all just poorly made. In addition, the closure clasp has discoloration stains. I definitely would not give this set as a gift, at least not in this box. Not very presentable.The elastic hooks inside the box are stretched out so they don't hold utensils properly and I suspect this will only get worse with use. The box doesn't open all the way so it's very nonfunctional when trying to pull the long utensils out. Instead of sliding them out, one has to stretch the elastic out enough to get over the edge of the lid or turn the utensils to the side because of the half way open lid. Whoever designed this box, didn't put a single thought into it and how it's going to be used.Now for the actual utensils,....other than knives which feel nice, heavy, and sturdy, all the other pieces are light and don't feel high quality. I'm not sure why mismatch in quality production of knives and the rest of the utensils, but it's very obvious especially when holding a knife and fork together.One of the knives wasn't fully covered by plastic inside the box and it has a little scratch as a result from bouncing around due to flimsy elastic hooks.One thing I did like is having steak knives and salad forks included in this set. It's one of the reasons I bought it, it's very hard to find in a set. It looks complete that way. Steak knives seem relatively sharp. I definitely wouldn't put this set in a dishwasher.In summary, this is an ok utensils set. I'm not impressed but it will do for now. Especially for daily use and most likely out of my drawer rather than this box. I haven't used it yet so I'm not sure about longevity, stains, etc., but I will update this review accordingly.
