Can't recommend these more highly. I used to buy the Optimum Nutrition Amino chewables (non caffeinated ones) as a 'keep me from eating something bad' alternative. It was highly effective for me- 2x a day I'd have 2-3 and it would satisfy my sweet tooth and keep me from going into the pantry and eating 200 calories of pretzels or peanuts. They stopped making them and I searched for alternatives with no success. Then I saw these- they are glutamine which I typically only supplement when nursing an injury but I figured I'd give them a try just for the snacking alternative purpose. They are amazing- they taste 10x better than the ON Amino chewables. These are legitimately delicious (they remind me of some candy from my childhood that I can't quite remember, but I seem to remember them being in a little treasure chest), and they are smaller than the ON ones as well. I typically grab 2 or 3 of these and it satisfies my craving at < 5 calories total. I hope to find a source with free shipping as I'd like to continue to order these every few months.
