I live in an apt building with old wooden floors that creak and are sensitive to all kind of movement. Since my roommates and I don't have the dining table on a rug, I decided to buy these to minimize the scaping sound of chair legs. Pay attention to sizing! I got the 1inch ones on a whim without even considering that there may have been smaller ones. Totally my fault. They still kind of work but the caps slide off pretty easily. I gave them 4 starts because the smell out of the package is pretty intense. If you're sensitive to scents, you will probably get a headache from from these th to first few days. It smells of rubber and 10 permanent. Other than that and my sizing flub, I can see these being super functional.
