Is it washing machine and dryer safe?

I do not know. However, I feel following care instruction, the manufacturer takes a lot of care to enclose with each skein... is best to follow always, on ALL Crochet products. I keep a folder with brand and instructions taped to each page iI also send a copy of those instructions with clients orders - so they also have a chance to care well for those items. After ALL that effort, I am not responsible for the care of the item. ~S~

Can this yarn be machine washed and dried?

I only hand wash the items I make with yarn. However, this is an acrylic yarn so you can wash it in the machine. I would do it on a gentle cycle. Also, if you use the dryer use a gentle or low heat cycle.

I wouldn't call this yarn, I would call it thread. Much smaller and thinner than anticipated. I was looking to make soft amigurumi dolls but this would be for something lacy like doilies. Quality is nice, but not what I needed. Very disappointed.
