Do the tips come off easily like older Beats products? (My wife has lost two or three sets of tips from her old ones).

They don’t come off anywhere near as easily as your last lot but do from time to time.

is the microphone noise canceling too?

Do not think so…. I would not buy these again. They always fall out… not a secure fit at all and the normal second gen earbuds from apple are better in every respect.
