PROS: This water fountain is easy to refill. Simply pour water into the dish at the bottom. You don't have to pour really slowly to prevent it from splashing. The fountain comes apart easily and the parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Hooray! We have multiple water fountains in our house, and this is one of my cats' favorites. CONS: When the water level gets just slightly low and the pump starts making noise, it's time to clean or replace the filter. I originally gave this fountain 4 stars because the noise was annoying, and it makes noise any time it's less than full. I took it apart and ran it through the dishwasher and rinsed the filter. Now, it runs as good as new! Three days in and it's not making any noise. Overall: I recommend this water fountain! When you find you have to top it off every day so it doesn't make an annoying gurgling noise, it's time to clean or replace the filter.

My cats are picky about their water and I've tried quite a few fountains, ranging from half to triple the cost, and this one is by far the favourite. Very quiet, relatively easy to clean, and filters are inexpensive. Replacement pumps are easy to purchase. I grabbed a couple just in case, but the originals have been going strong for years.

A reserva de lo que suceda en las próximas semanas, puedo decir que: 1. A mi gato le llamó la atención enseguida y en cuanto pudo bebió de la fuente. 2. Las partes se ensamblan sin problema lo que facilita la limpieza. 3. Hace muy poco ruido. Yo la puse en la sala común así que no es perceptible el sonido. Quizá en una habitación más pequeña sea diferente. 4. La potencia de la bomba no es muy alta pero es no es problema con mi gato. 5. Los materiales se ven de buena calidad. 6. El único pero que le pongo es que temo que en cualquier momento mi gato al jugar con el agua mueva la parte superior -que está superpuesta- y el nivel del agua baje y queme la bomba. Actualizaré mi reseña en las próximas semanas si cambio de parecer.
