it was a lot smaller then i expected but excellent espresso maker
wow!i was so surprised, it was a lot smaller then i expected but excellent espresso maker!when i opened it, it looked exactly like the picture, and if you want to keep it that way do NOT wash it in the dishwasher!i did and it tarnished the metal on the inside, and took off the silver on the outside.so i was left with a black, tarnished espresso maker, so i pulled out my baking soda and water and scrubbed the s*** out of it.after my hard work, the inside wasn't as shiny as before but 100% safe to drink from.also when i put it on the hot plate, water from the chamber would come out from the sides, but it still did the job.i give this a 4 star because it would be nicer if the water didn't spill out from the sides sometimes, but it is so great for travling and for a quick little espresso.it only takes about 2-3 min for it to be done.

Attractive, reasonably priced, makes coffee just like all the others, but lasts only a year
UPDATE: After a year of continuous use, the paint has peeled off! It looks really bad. Maybe a year seems like a long time, but I think my previous, simple, aluminium model lasted a decade.... :o(I wanted a stovetop espresso while staying in the USA and so bought one of these. It has a speckled grey enamel finish (or some kind of paint - it is not anodized - that seems to be tough and "stuck on" well). It also comes in a small black nylon pouch (I think the idea is that it is to take camping?!).Anyway, it looks fine and works fine - just the same as any other. It's quite light - an expensive Bialetti would be heavier - but I imagine it will last just as long (these things seem to get damaged handles, or seals, or lost filters, before the body itself wears out in any way). The only thing that surprised me was the sizing. I thought that the coffee maker I had owned before was "2 cup" size (this is the size I have seen them described as in the UK and in Chile). Since I could only find 1 and 3 cup sizes here, I assumed American cups must be bigger (everything is bigger in the USA right?! :o) and so ordered the 1 cup. But that is a tiny little thing, that would make one espresso cup. I then bought the 3 cup model, which appears to be size of what I have back home - it makes one "teacup size" cup of coffee.

AWSOME!!!
For YEARS, I have bought the same design of coffee pot, but by an Italian company....but, since this brand, had a one cup pot, I bought this one! It is made in China, & it does NOT leaks in the center, like the famous Italian brand!...It is also perfect for an individual, like myself, who is the only one in the family who loves, ( & needs!) a strong cup of espresso, once in a while! It is a must buy, for coffee lovers out there! GREAT!!!PS: It is also, the smallest, cutest coffee pot, that I have ever seen or own! BUY IT!

Four Stars
works great. Remember, 3 cup means 3 espresso cups, which is about a half of a normal coffee cup.
