Good hatchery
This is a good brine shrimp hatchery and there are pipettes, tubing and artemia storage vials included with the kit. The only thing is the pump that comes with it really strong (USB powered, a bit buzzy), so just don't fill the tube with water all the way like I did because it will cause the water and the eggs to bubble out over the top without a control valve. I do recommend reducing the airflow by using the included control valve. All in all this is a great and thoughtfully assembled kit.

Small but works great.... For awhile.
The capacity is just short of 2 cups. It's small for a community tank with several fish. Makes enough for me to do one feeding in my 20 gallon, overstocked, guppy tank.It works well. I get a very good hatch rate with Aquarium Co-op's brine shrimp eggs.I like being able to put it inside my tank so no external heater is required, but I do run my tank temp a bit lower than optimum hatching temp of 80°. It just takes longer to get a full hatch. The supplied air pump stopped working after 4 uses. Seems the built-in USB connector wire is faulty.I use my tanks air pump with a splitter for the airstone, adjust the air flow with the supplied air control valve, and it works fine.

Not high end, but good value
Realistically holds about 400 ml. Good if you have a small number of tanks. I use about half a scoop from the Aquarium Co-op brine shrimp eggs and it handles it fine. The plastic shutoff valve is cheap and should be replaced with a decent quality metal one.Even if you decide to upgrade to a high end hatchery in the future. Or if you decide that hatching your own brine shrimp is not worth the effort. The usb air pump makes this kit worthwhile. The kit close to the same price as a stand-alone pump.I have used it during power outages on my 75 gallon and it puts out plenty of air as a backup. You can diy a hatchery, but it will end up costing more than this “starter kit”.

Where to start...
First off, my hatchery did not come with a pump. I didn't sweat that too much because I was planning on using another one anyway (based on reviews). The directions are awful. The tubing is of poor quality and the clear tubing has kinks in it. The hard tubing isn't long enough to reach down to the bottom of the cylinder. The hard tubing also does not fit around the air stone. I had to snip a bit of the clear tubing to extend the hard tubing and connect it to the air stone. As a result it tilts to the side at the bottom (I'm not sure if it effects the performance, but it bothers the hell out of me). It's otherwise performing as advertised. One thing they don't mention in the video is that BEFORE harvesting you should focus light at the top of the cylinder so the BBS congregate up there and drain out the unhatched eggs that have sunk to the bottom. THEN focus the light at the bottom of the cylinder and harvest the BBS.

Waste of time and money
First, the instructions suck. Normally I can work through broken English, but this was bad. Second, half the stuff wasn't there. Thankfully, I had what was missing already. Third, the air pump is LOUD. Even after trying to rest it on a towel it was still horrendous. Not only loud, but it burnt out in one night. I definitely would not recommend.

Great product! Just cut the tubing on each end to fit Air!
You have to cut tubing in order for the air line to be put inside. It says to cut 1/2 in. Of air clear air line on each end to fit the air stone and gray acrylics tube and fit the tubing to the hole on top. Black tubing needs to be cut for the check valve. It has instructions on the listing on Amazon also. I read both the instructions which are vague at first and went back to the description. Suggest putting it inside of the tank if using that way. I put it on the outside empty and it fell. Otherwise use the stand. I put it inside the tank so no need for extra heat. Air stone works well. I may put a regulator to slow the bubbles down a little bit. This is great for someone who wants to culture live brine shrimp.

Middle tube doesn’t fit
In the picture description it shows a clear plastic tube that is flexible HOWEVER that is not what comes with it. Neither side of the grey plastic tube fits on the plastic part or the air stone. I am definitely returning this and am disappointed in how this product turned out.

Not worth the money
I was so excited when this showed up a week earlier than expected so I went and set it up immediately! There were no instructions supplied to put it together but I figured it out fairly easily. I tried suction cupping it to my fish tank but the plastic holders for around the tube snapped in half when I tried pulling them off of the tank to replace them!!!! Not only that but the air pump included lasted 2 days before it just stopped working! Very unhappy with this purchase!
