A Little SPOT of Life Skills and Actions Educator's Guide: Building Character

I acquired this set through DonorsChoose along with others, including the little plushies. I use this for SEL in Kindergarten & so far, so good.

I have used a partners copy several times but decided I wanted my own copy! So glad I did! I use it often and it makes my SEL and behavior instruction so much easier to plan!

Please, teach your children about recognizing emotional queues in themselves and others so that they have many options for navigating Life! A Little SPOT of Life Skills and Actions Educator's Guide could be a great companion to any traditional or modified educational setting including home study, camp, Scouts, or any children's education environment. Honestly there are probably just as many adults as children who could benefit from these lessons. Advanced vocabulary is presented with extensive explanation and great examples, so children pick up on important and sophisticated emotional terminology naturally as they read or listen along. Artwork is bright, motivational, and evokes appropriate kinds of emotional response as to really immerse children in emotional learning as well as reading/listening comprehension, art, and even number sense/early math (Breathing Spot excersizes). I could not recommend this book more highly and absolutely suggest checking out the entire SPOT series!! We have almost every book and we LOVE each and every single one! SPOTS will be our friends for life!!!
