My backyard is slanted. Does it affect assembly?

Yes, it will. My yard has a slight grade to it so I had to build up one side during construction to get things squared. It is possible to build on a slant, but not recommended.

The product comes with a waterborne stain for color only. You can restain it to any color you would like. As a key part of the warranty, you will need to apply a clear sealant that works for your area. What works in a desert climate doesn't work in snow areas.
