My son is a grad student at KU. He fell in love with Latin when he took 4 semesters of it as an undergrad- it was his foreign language credit. I bought this as a Christmas present for him this year :)

If you want to learn Latin or remind yourself of the Latin that you learned in grammar school, assuming you attended that sort of grammar school, then this is a great book to refresh your skills and have fun at the same time!

So excited to have this children's classic in Latin! I'm a school librarian and can't wait to share this with my students!

Wonderful translation of one of our all time favorite books. You can follow the Latin even if yours is rusty.

I think this Latin rendition of Sendak's children's classic is cleverly done and I hope I work into the curriculum for the beginner's class (12-14 years old) that I anticipate teaching this coming school year. Let's hope there are enough copies still in print for everyone.
