We actually had a professional test our water - thinking we wanted to have a large filtration system installed in our home (cost of $5,000). There test with our Watts system was BETTER than the standard quality of test with THEIR $5,000 system installed. It has to be installed properly and run through all steps of the set up process. I would not drink our San Diego tap water without this system.
