Do you have low blood iron levels? Recover from an iron deficiency with this simple guide and 50+ tasty recipes! Blood is a bodily fluid that specializes in transporting substances around a human or animal's body. It distributes sugars, oxygen, hormones, and nutrients as it filters the cells through the entire body. One of the most common blood disorders is Anemia. It is a shortage of red blood cells that results in blood's failure to transport oxygen effectively to the tissues or organs. Its symptoms include fatigue, pale skin, dizziness, and headache. Iron-deficiency Anemia is the most common type of Anemia and is characterized by a deficiency of iron in the diet resulting in a reduction in the number of red blood cells. An insufficient supply of iron will limit your body's capacity to make hemoglobin, a protein that delivers oxygen to your organs and tissues. Dietary adjustments might be necessary to increase your red blood cell level and improve your blood health. This book will teach you how to make tasty, quick, and easy dishes to help you normalize your red blood cell levels and fight Anemia. This book is also intended for everyone who wants to keep their blood healthy and act preventively, as well as for all who donate blood so that their body heals faster following donation. Inside this book, you can find: General guide to Anemia; 50 + healthy iron rich recipes for everyday meals, including pictures and nutrition facts; Tricks and tips for cooking; A 2-Week diet plan; Endless benefits for your health! Recipes presented in this book are very healthy, delicious and fulfilling. They can be consumed by adults and children, and might not be used only during your recovery phase but can be a long-term diet plan for you and your family. Review: Interesting cook book - There are so many recipes in this book that are so delicious. I'm not sure if any of the recipes have actually increase my iron levels, it might be due to my own issues relating malabsorption. Though I do not regret buying this book because the recipes are awesome. I just enjoy the things that I have made, and they have been super easy. Review: Iron Deficiency Anemia Cookbook - I found this cookbook interesting but as I am a picky eater I didn't find very many recipes that I would use. For those that enjoy veggies this book is for you. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Don’t waste your time
The cover picture is beautiful … unfortunately, it’s the only color picture in the entire cookbook. Had I seen a preview of the recipes in this book, I would not have bought it. Not only are the pictures black and white, the recipe’s nutritional facts don’t give the iron content in the recipe!!

Useful practical advice
Useful practical advice if you are trying to adjust your diet to increase the amount of iron your body receives and reduce your risk of iron deficiency anaemia. Some excellent recipes.

Don’t bother
Terrible. Poorly done, the nutritional information for each recipe doesn’t even mention iron, arguably the main reason I was wanting this. Many recipes included dairy which is known to counteract iron absorption. One recipe is just carrot, onion, salt and pepper. Pictures all look photocopied. Don’t bother.

Why are the pictures back and white... doesn't look appealing
Why would a cook book have black and white pictures....We haven't tried any recipes yet, but my daughter has had low iron for a couple years and now has extremely low iron. She has chosen some recipes to try

Shockingly poor.
Given the serious nature of the topic, this self-published guide was beyond bad. The author must have known how bad it was and how he was taking people's money for nothing, because the first two pages are all legal disclaimers. There is no bio of the author in the book and no picture. The bio on Amazon says he learned from specialists but he doesn't acknowledge any of them in the book. The content he includes about the topic is shallow and derivative. There is much better information for all to access on the Internet. The recipes are repetitive and the diet plan contains errors such as repeating the same recipe twice in a day. There are errors in English language usage and awkward syntax. The words on paper--I hesitate to call it a book--were clearly unedited. It was as though he threw it together at the last minute, stuck a cover on it and sent it out. It does not deserve a place on Amazon let alone in anyone's hands.
