This story helped prepare my 2 year old for potty training. He would ask to read it while sitting on the potty. Cute story for my Dino loving kid.

I wasn't sure what to expect for a "used book" but there aren't any issues with this at all. It does say the original owners name on the "This book belongs to...." (Hi Victor!) but my daughter doesn't care. it's perfect for a toddler wanting to learn about the potty. We read it twice, and by the 2nd time my daughter was saying "go potty?....." and "oh, wet pants!" as we read the story. She even asked for it a 3rd time in a row!

We keep this book next to our toddler’s training toilet. Any time she has an accident, we sit her on it and read her this. It has a great message, colorful images that kids love, and helps teach them to pay attention to their bodies even when they are having fun. She loves reading her “saury” book!

We bought several books about the potty after our 18 month old expressed some interest in it. This is the only one he likesand he requests to read it daily. I like that he likes it and it seems to have increased his interest in being a big kid, too! The illustrations are also adorable and really captured my dino-loving toddler's interest. I dislike the lack of frank instruction in the book. The book has a cute rhyming scheme, which makes it a good read aloud, but to make phrases flow nicely there's a trade off in terms of instruction. At one point there's a phrase about the newly minted big-kid "know(s) just what to do" with toilet paper. This phrase fits with the rhyme on the page, but isn't very informative. In short, this is a great book to build excitement about the potty, but not a great book for helping teach children how to use the potty. You'll likely need to pair this book with another, more informative book.

My son loves dinosaurs and this book is perfect to help smooth the potty training process along. It’s a soft cover book, with thick pages for durability. I love the colors and what it talks about. It goes through a potty accident in underwear, mommy comforting him saying he’ll get it next time, using the potty even when you’re busy playing with toys, hygiene and flushing etc. I recommend it!

Great book! Great visuals and toddler loved it! Got him excited about potty training!
