This works but not 100%. The edges don't come high enough to cover the holes to make sure the orbs are filled. If you try to pour out the extra water, you will pour some out of the orbs and not get full circle ices balls.

Got these as a gift for my boyfriend who wanted perfectly round ice balls for his mixed drinks. The first time we made them we botched them somehow. We finally perfected them! They are wonderful and keep your drink cool for a long time!

Terrible Product. Cheaply made and the ice balls do not retain their shape. Also, do not last very long in a drink either.
