Great steel pipe cutting tool and comes with a spare wheel

For the price, it’s worth it. Just remember, just take your time this is not a record.
It works fine for me. I’ve been cutting inch and three-quarter tubing at the moment. I must cut around 100 tubes and it still in good shape. Obviously it’s a bit where on the wheel but just take your time and let the tool work for you..

C'est un bonne appareil , le rapport qualité /prix est bon . Attention : il est plus gros qu'on ne le pense . Pour couper certains tuyaux , vous avez intérêt à avoir de bons avant bras . Soyez prudent si vous le commandez , il y a une petite roue de rechange pour couper qui n'est pas scotcher , et lorsque l'on ouvre le paquet elle tombe .

Worked great to cut open some oil filters, I'm sure it will work just as well on thicker materials like steel pipe or emt/rmc. Seems to be very well built for the price paid. I think many negative reviews are due to not being familiar with using a rotary tubing cutter. You have to be patient, it will need many rotations especially with thin materials(like an oil filter shell). Start with the cutting wheel barely touching the tube, just enough to hold it in place and make a 'scratch', then rotate and verify it is tracking straight. You don't want to crush/dent the tube. Keep rotating until you feel less resistance, then increase pressure a *tiny* bit more and keep rotating until you feel the resistance change again; repeat, repeat, repeat until you cut thru. You can be more aggressive with thicker material but you will crush/deform the tube if you get too aggressive. Patience is key!

Made from cast iron and steel, No plastic or aluminum. Solid as a rock so no spiral cuts like light weight cutters made from aluminum or plastic. Even includes an extra cutter. Of course, it's not tiny and takes about a 20" circle to swing it. Value for the $ is very high.

Top, j’ai découpé proprement des tubes d’acier bruts de 40mm de diamètre avec une épaisseur de 1,5mm. J’ai dû faire 6-8 tours et puis ca coupe, nickel et ligne bien droite ! Plus qu’à poncer pour rendre tout ca propre !
