A set of chess pieces to treasure
This set of chess pieces is absolutely beautiful, I'm so pleased that I invested in this set as the pieces set up on the board look really smart. The king stands tall and proud and the weight of the chess peices themselves is spot on, two extra suppled Queen's are a nice finishing touch. This is the best set I've ever owned and now deserves a new board to sit on.

Very nice chess pieces, however...
... with some manufacturing flaws, unfortunately. The queens' crowns are unevenly carved, and there are also little imperfections in the colouring of a few of the black pieces. The felt under the pieces is a little too thick and looks like it was cut out by hand and glued underneath with haste, rather edgy than round.I would have expected better for the price, to be honest. But in general, lovely chess pieces, and without these little flaws certainly a recommendation.
