Final update....After hearing nothing from the seller for over two weeks I sent one more message regarding the seller not honouring what I was offered and two days later a drill did arrive. The seller did message me and apologised so the customer service is good, even though it does take time to get things resolved. However, as I now have my powerful and reliable Bosch I will only be using this for light work such as screwing flat packs together as I don't expect the replacement to last long either. I will leave all the heavy duty work to my Bosch.Further update....The seller contacted me and offered a replacement. After sending my postal address, as requested, I heard no more and the seller didn't replace the drill. Since then I have bought a nice Bosch as I can't keep wasting money on these cheap drills that only last a few short uses. This drill replaced a similar item that couldn't be used after a few short uses as the chuck broke. At £30+ a time the cost of these cheap drills soon add up therefore I paid £90 for a Bosch and I know that will last for many, many years thus saving a lot of cash in the long term. Seriously, these drills shouldn't be allowed to be sold as they are designed for light use only and even then they don't last long.Update....After having this drill for just over six months it suddenly stopped working. The bad thing about that happening is that like most power tools this drill had only been used a few times and even those few times were mainly just for tightening bolts and as a screwdriver.Basically, if I had used this drill once per week it would have packed up in less than two months so although I originally gave this a 5* rating it has proved to be a costly power tool as it simply doesn't last. The strange thing is that I originally avoided buying a B & D product as they became well known for being unreliable but that was an error as even with a B & D I would have got more use out of it..The strangest thing is that there was no warning that this was going to pack up. I was just tightening the bolts on an office chair and all was well for the first five bolts but when I pulled the trigger to tighten a sixth bolt there was simply no power at all. Doing the obvious, I assumed the battery had gone dead, I tried the spare battery as that was fully charged up recently and nothing. So, I put both batteries on charge and still.... nothing. Basically, this drill is made not to last but to last long enough to avoid having to replace it or make a refund. On a positive note this drill does get an award for being the least reliable and the shortest lifespan for any drill that I have owned over the decades. I did recommend this drill but now I do not recommend it as it is likely to pack up after a few short uses thus unless you expect to do a few jobs in a short time after purchase you won't get to that point until it's too late to get a refund or a replacement.When I purchased this drill I got it with some urgency. The chuck on my other drill had seized, which is an issue with keyless chucks. I had tried everything possible to open the chuck and to no avail. So, with a flat pack waiting to be assembled and with a bit of urgency I looked at what was available, at a reasonable price as I didn't want another drill that will pack up at a cost.Seeing this product and reading the description made me take the risk and go for it. I'm happy that I did as the drill is strong, it has donea fair few jobs to date and it does come with many bits and pieces.This drill is good for drilling into brickwork, wood and thin metal. However, do not expect this to drill through concrete as it is not a hammer drill and it is simply not powerful enough.Overall, I am happy with this drill as it hasn't let me down yet. It also works well as a screwdriver and for tightening / undoing bolts. The drill is made to a good standard and is good value so I am recommending it.

Update: unfortunately broke in 2 months and barely used it mainly as screwdriver.But great customer service and got replacement quickly which still worksIt is an ideal item for your home DIY jobs have enough stuff to fulfill the jobs you might have, it's not a big branded machine don't expect the same you pay less for it so can't compare with those, but I can say it does the job as supposed to do my only negative is the carry case, that's a crap, a hard case would have been much better it would cost approx like 5 pounds extra but using a soft case for such an equipment like this is not protective bits and bobs just easily moving around so I recommend the seller to improve this product with a hard case. But I'm happy and I can recommend to buy this product good price and can do your DIY home jobs
