Bella Beauty Mini Ceramic Styler 1/2"

first off I did not purchase this product from Amazon but my concerns have nothing to do with where I purchased it, but with the product itself. I have fine, very short hair and this iron does not seem to work very well at all. My stylist used a similar model (different company same size) on my hair this am and her's did a splendid job but this one does not hold hair and the hair slips out. Perhaps as I become more familiar with a flat iron instead of curling iron I will like it better that is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 which I really think it may deserve. On the plus side it gets hot quickly and is small and converts from 110 to 220 automatically which for European travelers would be a huge plus. Also I found it very cheaply at a local discount store, had I paid the Amazon price it would certainly be winging its way back to Amazon. I am posting on Amazon b/c the same model is available and it is the product I'm reviewing not the seller.

These just did not work for me. Not sure yet whether it is the Styler or Me!
