Although this is a little small for our 6month old red foot tortoise, he really likes it. Pretty realistic looking and a great addition to his habitat. Well made and stable footing.

To big for the tanks width

The media could not be loaded. Too small for our adult Russian Tortoise. I’d say his shell is about 6 inches. He was not able to climb or walk on the without toppling off. Clearly not good because he will end up flipped over in his house and might not be able to flip himself back over which is dangerous. I tried putting him in the dish part to see if he could walk down it but he started to fall off.This would only be good for a tortoise 3 inches or smaller. I’m not sure if this is good for turtles since those live in water and idk if this is made for water.I gave it 4 stars bc the quality seems good. But because I have to send it back, I don’t know how long lasting it would be.This was packaged up pretty well so it wouldn’t break. Came in bubble wrap, and a box. I recommend making sure you select “ ship in Amazon box” to avoid it from breaking. This will give it extra protection so it’s not squished by other packages. Just my two cents.

Nice and beautiful

First of all, measurements are not accurate. Second, there are a ton of sharp edges, if you do end up liking the size, then you’ll definitely need to sand the edges. Lastly, the decor is hollow, so be careful if you’re using this for a snake or lizard.

This item was purchased for our turtle although he's in minimum water this item did not allow him to bask in his light because it's really short

I bought this for a turtle tank it is perfect other than it floats...hence the gravel on top. I wanted a dry area for some turtles so it is perfect. I put a Tupperware dish in that was the same size filled it with stone and sat this rock accent on top.

I'm not sure why I was asked about the suction power for this item. There's no suction to it. I will say that it sits steadily on the place I have it. The hole/hideaway spot in the middle of this gives my "hermies" a great hiding spot. They seem to like climbing on it too. Yes, I would recommend this to anyone looking for an item like this.
