Question 1

Is this gelatin halal does it contain pig gelatin

Accepted Answer

Thank you for your interest in YumEarth! I hope the following information is helpful. VEGAN - YumEarth Organic Fruit Snacks are essentially gummy bears in the shape of fruits that achieve their rarified chewy texture from pectin rather than gelatin. NOT VEGAN - YumEarth Gummy Bears and Gummy Worms offer an amazingly quintessential gummy bear bounce thanks to their authentic USDA Organic compliant pork based gelatin. Occasionally we do make seasonal gummy bears using our Vegan fruit snack recipe, which you may find at Whole Foods and Target, including our recent 2016 Halloween bears and the 2017 Valentine's and Easter bears. The gelatin based gummy bear recipe is made using 70%+ organic ingredients.VEGAN - YumEarth Organic Sour Beans are the first of its kind - rough looking, sour tasting and pomegranate flavored in the center, these jelly beans might just change your life! VEGAN - YumEarth Organic Gluten Free Licorice is the only amazing tasting licorice on planet earth that is both gluten free and actually tastes as good or better than any licorice you have ever tasted. Try Pomegranate, Peach, and Strawberry and now we have Black Licorice, too!!! VEGAN and Kof-K Kosher Parve - YumEarth Lollipops and Hard Candy started it all back in 2005 when we invented the organic candy category you now see in stores. Organic, gluten free, kosher parve, vegan, and available in so many award winning flavors, YumEarth lollipops and candy drops have quickly become American classics with families having grown up knowing only the best lollipops on earth and now sharing them with their own new families. We want you to also know we use only vegan and kosher parve Natural Flavors that comply with the more strict USDA Organic standard, so there are no MSG, carrageenan, or nitrate surprises, for example, and each Natural Flavor contains the juice of each fruit, so Pomegranate Pucker Natural Flavor contains pomegranate juice, for example.

Question 2

Are these the 5oz bags or little snack packs? The description says 5oz (almost 1/3 lb), but the reviews say little bags of 8-10 bears?

Accepted Answer

This is a 5oz bag of a single flavor of our gummy bears. Pomegranate Pucker. No snack packs. Awesome bears!

Question 3

How many gummies per package?

Accepted Answer

A gummy bear is between 2 grams and 2.5 grams per piece. I hope that helps.
