I got this for my six year old granddaughter. It is smaller and not as sturdy as the one I had as a child but it works. She needs help when doing it but I think as she gets older she will be more dexterous. She has been getting these completed like its her job!! So far everyone has been gifted with one but ME!! Hoping I get my potholder soon.

You may get 2 different typers of loopers. The pink and blue is made with shorter, tighter loopers that IMO do not make as nice potholders. The multicolor is made with the longer fabric like loopers. I MUCH prefer the later. The problem is, you don’t know which kind you are going to get until they show up. It would be great if the seller would have the 2 options to select from. Unfortunately the tighter loopers have broken my hooks because you have to pull so hard to get the loopers in the frame. Also they pop off easily when you are removing the pot holder from the frame to the point where I have had to disassemble the potholder and redo it because it popped off the frame and could not be finished.

My 10 year old daughter LOVEs this!!! It is hours and hours of fun for her. She has made pot holders, purses, rugs, etc. It is one of her favorite pastimes.

This is my second buy and I'm very pleased with the durability of these colorful and uniform size weaving loops. I'm making a rug out of pot holders and I love it. ❣️

The bands were easy to get on the loom, but hard to weave. Very thick. Fingers are very sore after use, and fingernails hurt very much. The bands frayed when pulled, and children find it very frustrating when the bands pop up when trying to weave them and finish the craft. Help from an adult is needed for a child under 8 years. Too tight for a 7 inch loom. Colors are very bright, and the finished potholder was very sturdy and functional, but that was probably the only good things about this product. Do not recommend.

My grandkids were'nt quite ready for this. I think their fine motor skills haven't developed enough to do the actual weaving. BUT I had a blast making a potholder. Took me back 25 years to my daughter making them. I still have the 3 potholders that she made me.
