The puzzle is good quality, holds very well. I was able to pick it up with no problem. The brown section was hard but over all very fun. đŸ¤©

Nice, challenging puzzle
I purchased the 500 piece version of this puzzle. I completed it with my 11 and 13 year old daughters. It gave us a pretty good challenge. Once you get going on a good chunk of the puzzle it gets easier. Made in the USA is my favorite part! I could see us doing this puzzle again in the future.

Unique in more ways than one
The pro: the pieces are unique. The con: the pieces are unique.I included pictures of the back so you can more easily see what I'm describing.Because the pieces are unique, it's not possible to put something in the wrong place. That's a plus. However, the flip side is: (1) not all pieces are fully interlocking, and (2) not all spaces take pieces as expected. For example, imagine you are holding a piece with an external/outside piece expecting it to go into another piece with a hole (inner). Forget it. Just as many pieces require 2, yes TWO, pieces to get around that outer piece. It makes it very hard to find the correct pieces.Since my eye sight isn't as good as it once was, and the high gloss causes a great deal of glare, I often find I have to resort to finding a particular shape in order to assemble the puzzle.Typically, my granddaughter and I finish a 1000 piece puzzle in a day or two. This one took us almost a week.On the one hand it's nice that we had more time. On the other, we both grew quite a bit frustrated with the pieces. The pieces range in size with many of them being quite small/narrow or large. Personally, we liked the larger sizes (overall). They are easier to handle with my arthritic hands and my granddaughter appreciated being able to more easily see what piece was and be able to identify it.One final plus: the pieces fit so well, when it was finished, that it was easy to flip and glue for hanging. It holds together rather well once complete assembled. Don't get me wrong, we still had to do sections, but it was quite manageable. One final con: there is no separate poster and this would be VERY helpful. At least for us.Stated finished dimensions : 24"x30".Actual dimensions: 24-1/4"x30-1/2".Only becomes an issue (for folks like us) who work our puzzles on foam core boards (24"x30") or similar.

CHALLENGING PIECE OF CAKE ANYONE
I love the quality of Springbok puzzles. I've been buying and putting them together almost long as they've been manufacturing these puzzles in the USA. My only wish is having a print to go by and not the box lid.

The worst puzzle I've ever worked on..bar none.
1) It is cheaply made, including the box it comes in. 2) The pieces were barely cut all the way through, so that the underside is fuzzy on the sides, and I am having to use scissors to shave off the fuzz so that I can hook the pieces together. 3, The pieces are cut extremely oddly and are anything but interlocking. 4. Many of the inside pieces also had straight sides so trying to do the outside of the puzzle was more difficult than necessary. 5) Due to the fuzz, as I am calling it, the pieces don't go together properly..almost as if they got damp and it swelled. I have had to pound several pieces together. 6. Not all the pieces were even cut. I bought this for my classroom. I would have expected this quality to have come from a dollar store, not from a 17 dollar puzzle. Daily we consider quitting it and just throwing it away, but I'm determined to finish it and save it for the end of the school year so that I can burn it at the bonfire.

Horrible quality
I've tried a couple of American puzzle brands before like Buffalo games and pomegranate. All of which have been good pleasent experiences, so I figured I'd try Springbok too since so many praise it. Big misstake and waste of money. This was by FAR my worst puzzle experience. The pieces are just horribly cut so much so that you have to forcefully push every single piece in place since nothing fits as it should. Quality controll seems to have been really over in the factory. Overall a shockingly subpar product. Avoid!!!

Espectacular, increible
Me ha encantado, las piezas son irregulares y grandes, ocupa como un puzzle de 1500 piezas. Encaje perfecto, imagen nĂtida. Un 10!

Almost good enough to eat!
Larger pieces make it easier to handle.

Arrived in squashed plain white box not Springbok box, jigsaw poor quality, can't possibly give it as Christmas present to somebody, appears to be cheap copy.
