Just what the doctor ordered!
I have a damaged nerve on one finger that cannot be fixed. My doctor recommended I use silicone gel finger protectors for the issue. It's ONLY one finger (on the top near the nail) so I don't need a lot of sizes. This works great! One reviewer marked this down because it was too thick. What is a negative for one person may be a positive for another. For me, that thickness is what I need. I need the thicker coating of spongy gel to protect that finger. This is the first thing that has worked in over 20 years! No, they don't work with a touchscreen but since I almost never use that finger for a touchscreen it doesn't matter. The longer ones are long enough for me to get 2 protectors out of each one - one with a cap over the nail and the other with the nail exposed and either is acceptable to me.They feel nice and come on/off easy (such as removing before cleaning chicken for supper). How long each will last - I don't know but with the number I have doubled, I'll be OK for a while!I'm happy!

Held up well
I injured my finger and had to wear a splint for 3 months. The splint had to have a covering to stay in place. I tried tape and gauze but that was constantly wet and I was changing it 10-12 times a day. I started looking for something that would keep the splint secure and waterproof not needing to be changed few hours. These guys were a lifesaver. They were very flexible and durable. I could stretch them over the splint and keep it in place. Other than being a bit tacky to the touch at first they worked like a charm

Falling off
Item could be nice but as a male with normal size fingers they fall off way too lose.

Don’t stay on your fingers very well.
Don’t stay on very well. Have a tendency to roll up and fall off.

Best thing to protect cuts on fingers
As a massage therapist I need to be really careful about keeping any little cuts or nicks on my fingers protected from infection. Bandages don’t work, they fall off the minute the oil touches them. Even with regular hand washing throughout the day, it’s impossible to find a bandage that stays on.These are perfect for that. They stay on nice and securely and keep any wounds clean and dry.

they almost look like my skin and don't stick out'
I use to use the white plastic fingertip one's but these are much better and last a long time and when wearing them they look almost like your skin so they don't stick out like the white one's.

Worthless - Don't fit men's US fingers
These are worthless. I have relatively small hands for a man and these are much too small for my hands.

really work to protect finger tips from cracking
These gel finger cots are wonderful. They fit nicely over my fingers. They are easy on and off. I check groceries and my finger tips stay cracked and broken open. The gel cots protect them from being damaged. I also use them at night to help promote healing by placing a healing ointment on my finger tips and placing the gel cots over them. works much better than band aides.
