At our old house, we had an aging sewer system and tree roots in the main line. This was the only toilet paper that worked reliably for us, so we used it for years. After moving, our new plumbing could handle other options—but we realized we still preferred Scott 1000 because each roll lasts so much longer. I especially like being able to buy these large packs on Amazon. I’ve ordered them through both Subscribe & Save and regular one-time purchases, and I honestly never buy any other toilet paper anymore.

Very thin but my mistake for not reading the details thoroughly. It's only 1 ply. I wanted to give 3 stars. However, I like the fact that its made from recycled products, thus I gave it an extra star. Also, I do not need to use extra sheets to wipe as others claim if I use it after urinating. That's when I use the most. Yes you do need a bit more after going #2 "if your stool is soft".

I’ve tried other brands when they’re on sale, but I always end up coming back to Scott. It’s strong and dependable without being overly bulky. Its a great product but insanely overpriced in Canada. In the US, I could get this in any store, cheapest option. Here, it's impossible to find and there are no alternatives except fluffy rolls that don't last 2 days. Really crummy spending so much when I know it's worth about $15 total. Time to cross the border and head to walmart.

If you specifically need toilet paper that breaks down FAST and wont clog pipes, this stuff genuinely works. With that said, its 1-ply, so if you even look at it the wrong way, your finger is ripping through it and taking a dip in Charlies Chocolate Factory. I got into habit of taking 2-4 and folded them onto one another along the seams in order to multi-ply its effectiveness 𓁹‿𓁹 If you live in an RV/Aircraft, or have some weird corporate requirement to have more easily degrading paper on-hand, this stuff is great. For the rest of the world, you need a plumber. Under no circumstances is buying TP like this an acceptable long-term strategy for avoiding shoving hand down pipe and manually pulling the ancient dookie clog out. It works great as that "special TP for just few weeks while plumbing is fixed" through.
