If Apple was to make an electric screwdriver
I bought this screwdriver for a project I was doing. I needed a small lightweight electric screwdriver because the project had a lot of screws that needed to be screwed in and I didn't want to use a manual one. I bought it mainly because of the reviews and the simple elegance to it. When It arrived I was shocked! The first thing that came to mind to describe this tool is "If Apple was to make an electric screwdriver, this is what it would be". The build quality on this is very impressive, the simplicity of the design is very Apple like. The case design is ingenious. It is a very well though out product. There is one rocker button for forward and reverse, a turn knob at the top for on/off and torque setting (of which there are three choices) and a USB-C port at the bottom end for charging, that's it. No unnecessary buttons, knobs or extra features, just plain, simple design. So how does it work? I used it on my project and was very happy with it. It has a lot more torque than I though it would. If I had to pick a negative point on this product it would be that it has so much torque it spins the screwdriver out of your hand when your done screwing something in. Unlike a drill, which when it reaches it torque limit makes a grinding sound to let you know it doesn't have enough torque to continue turning the screw or drill bit, this has so much torque on the lowest setting it spins the screwdriver out of your hand when you reach the end. The battery seemed to last a long time, I never ran out of power on my project and used it quite a bit. it has a nice assortment of bits that come with it and they seem to be good quality as well. The case is a metal cylinder, in which the bottom holds the bits in the outer part and the center holds the tool itself. A metal cylinder sleeve fits over it and locks into place by turning it. This is the best built, simplest design I have ever seen (again, very Apple like). I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a high quality, easy to use electric screwdriver.

Save your wrist!
Great addition to my car trunk emergency toolkit. I have used this screwdriver to fix our electric scooters, dryer, disassemble a bunk bed, and even at work. High quality, great torque, long battery life.

Beautiful and Functional
My son is going off to college so I thought he will need a tool to put together furniture and other things. I was going to get him a small drill but then he is renting a room and really have no need for a drill. So I look around and found this. Since he is still at home, I got to use it when it got here to put together some small furniture I ordered. First of all, this screwdriver is not as powerful as my 14V cordless screwdriver, but it is so portable. USC-C charging is a game changer. And it is so good looking almost like an art piece. At this time, I am actually thinking about keeping it for myself and buy my son another one for college! The only negative I have to say about it is that it is so smooth and you will need a strong grip if you are screwing in at the level II torque. I am used to using the right angle holding drill so really did not expect loosing the grip on the tool due to torque. I just need to hold it really tight.

Solid tool, worth the money.
I bought this back in 2023 and it has been great.Pros:Great torqueTakes standard screwdriver bitsLong lasting battery at room tempUSB C chargingVery durableLED light is very functionalLarge button for easy to find with glovesCons:The tools size is kind of bulkyThe case is only good for job site work and not work bench workThe button does not differentiate between clockwise and counter clockwise very wellI wish the LED was a little brighterNote:This is not a con of the tool, just a note for potential buyers. This tool mentions that it should not be used in extreme cold. It tested this out and left this tool in my garage for a few weeks while the temps were between 25 F to 5 F and the tool still works but the charge will not last for more then 10 to 20 minutes. I brought it back inside and let it warm up and it is holding a charge again. The tool still works when cold soaked but I would not recommend it. I have also dropped this electric screwdriver 20 plus times from four feet and higher and it still works as intended. I would buy this again.

Convenient but limited
This electric rechargeable screwdriver definitely makes life more convenient—though only once or twice a year. I recently moved to a new place and used it to assemble some furniture. Here are my findings:Positives:- It’s incredibly convenient to use this screwdriver to tighten or loosen screws, especially compared to the tiny Allen keys that come with furniture kits.- You might not notice it at first, but using this (or any electric screwdriver, really) saves a significant amount of time throughout the entire task.- The screwdriver is lightweight, well-crafted, and comfortable to hold. It’s also intuitive and easy to operate, though it does take a little time to figure out the best grip to prevent it from spinning with the screw.- The battery charge lasts well. I haven’t had to recharge it before the first use, and it still hasn’t shown any signs of a low battery.- The included screwdriver bits cover most everyday needs, and it's nice that they can be stored in the screwdriver container.Negatives:- When I assembled a dining table and chairs with this screwdriver, some screws required more torque than the three available settings. This meant I had to revert to the Allen keys that came with the assembly kit. If I were to disassemble the set, I’d need to loosen some screws manually first and then use the screwdriver to remove them completely—though this is a minor inconvenience.- This is a tool designed for casual users who may only use it a few times a year, making it more of a convenience item. If you're a power user, you may want to look for a more powerful alternative.- The magnet that holds the screwdriver bits in place could be stronger. The bits often stay attached to the screws when pulling the screwdriver away.- The soft grip, made of plastic and rubber, feels great to touch and handle, but it attracts fine dust and is difficult to clean. Even sawdust from assembling furniture sticks to it, ruining the soft texture.

A powerful little tool that can even drive a screw into wood
This screwdriver replaced a previous light duty one from Black and Decker. The other one was great, but this one is amazing. it is half the size and twice as powerful. I was able to drive a screw into a stud that previously took my full size drill/driver. The unit struggled, but it did get the job done. I wouldn't build a fence with it, but for household chores it can be one stop shopping. It has three torque levels, with level 3 being utilized for putting the screw in the stud. It worked great and did not strip the screw at that level. Just for comparison, I tried again with the level 1 torque setting and shredded the screw, so make sure to set the correct setting for the resistance being applied.I also love the circle light. It was not glaring, but did the trick in low light spaces. My only suggestion would be to include some "allen wrench" tips. But that is not a deal breaker as I was able to buy a stand-alone set for just over 10 dollars. All in all, this is a great, solid product.

Impulsively purchased
The best tool to buy if you need to build new furniture. I recently moved into my own apartment and I needed to buy furniture. I was using the manual tools they send in the furniture box but it was very labor intensive. I grew tired and bought this little guy impulsively. It saved me a lot of time and stress. It charges pretty fast and has speed adjusting which I needed for some delicate wood furniture and hard metal furniture I purchased. It's perfect for small projects. I don't think it will be good for large heavy duty projects.

A functional beauty!
Outstanding product! As a boomer who’s grown up using high-quality products for the majority of my life and seeing the deterioration of quality construction, and materials that we generally have these days, it was delightfully refreshing to find such a well-made product in today’s world at a reasonable price. It has an Apple-esq quality to it in terms of fit, feel and finish. The amount of torque and power that it has is impressive. Even the cylindrical case it came in was first class.I’m an inventor and I will be bringing a new product to market that needs to be assembled slightly by the user and is my intention to make an arrangement with Hoto whereby I can include one of these units along with my product to make it easier and more pleasurable for my clients to assemble and of course they can keep the tool which I’m sure they will love. One of the nicest products I’ve used in a long time and I highly recommend it!

A lightsaber in a dinosaur embryo canister that puts manual labor to shame.
I have been using this HOTO electric screwdriver religiously for the last ten months. I fully intended to go back to my old, manual screwdrivers at some point - mostly out of habit - but that would be like ditching a modern smartphone to go back to a carrier pigeon. After nearly a year of consistent, daily abuse, I am thrilled to report that there is absolutely no wear and tear whatsoever. It is still going strong, which is more than I can say for my own knees.First, let’s talk about the aesthetic. It looks exactly like a lightsaber, and it makes me feel like a Jedi. It even arrives in a circular storage contraption that looks suspiciously like the stolen dinosaur embryo canister from the whipped cream can in Jurassic Park. I half expect to open the lid and find the DNA of a T-Rex instead of metal bits. The magnetic heads are a stroke of genius, making the whole process of swapping bits laughably easy. You don't have to fiddle about with tiny, greasy parts; you just snap them into place. The size is perfection; it fits into the palm of your hand as if it were designed by an ergonomically obsessed sculptor, and it has just enough weight to feel like a serious tool rather than a toy.But the real, soul-cleansing glory occurs when you are assembling a 3D printer. We have all been there, wrestling with those metal arms like you are trying to pin down a butch, robotic octopus. You usually need a seventh hand to hold the Allen key, you can only turn it a millimeter at a time, and then you realize you’ve done it the wrong way round and the struggle begins all over again. This screwdriver turns a 20-minute, life-shortening disaster into a 2-minute, peaceful experience. It is also absurdly good value for money. When you consider that you are essentially purchasing a piece of high-tech wizardry that holds its charge for an eternity - I have charged this thing exactly once in ten months - the cost is borderline philanthropic. I reckon if Qui-Gon Jinn had cracked this out to cut through the blast doors in the first Star Wars film, he would have been through and finished the job before the droid army even realized what was happening. It is officially my go-to tool. It is the lightsaber I never knew I needed to fight the tyranny of flat-pack furniture, all while safely encased in a vessel that makes me feel like I’m smuggling stolen prehistoric assets off Isla Nublar. If you are still using a manual screwdriver, you are essentially trying to fight a Rancor with a butter knife. Stop it, and buy this.

Great Tool for Everyday Use!
I’m really impressed with the HOTO Electric Screwdriver Set. It’s compact, powerful, and super easy to use. The 3 torque settings make it versatile — gentle enough for small electronics but strong enough for furniture assembly. The USB-C charging is a big plus, charges fast and lasts a long time on a single charge. The build quality feels premium, and the magnetic bits are very handy.Honestly, it’s one of those tools you don’t realize how much you need until you have it. A perfect balance of design, power, and convenience. Highly recommend!
