I've owned this case for almost three days and the little tab that protects the USB C port has already fallen off. It's not a big deal for me, but if you're looking for that extra level of protection, I would look elsewhere.The case itself is fantastic. There is a hard frame that snaps over the phone and the silicone slides over that. My phone feels very secure and the extended cutout at the bottom of the case makes accessing the stylus very easy.

I really liked the feature of the covers for the charger port and headphone port, however, the charger port cover snapped off with gentle use within 48 hours. The bottom right corner where the stylus is located has a rubber bar stability piece that has broken and the corner is splitting apart even though phone hasn't been dropped on that corner. (See Photos)It has, however, survived being thrown when in a car accident and the phone had been placed in the windshield mount that was released upon impact to the windshield thanks to a reckless old man not looking both ways before trying to cross 5 lanes from parking lot to side street. It also survived being knocked off my desk by a raucous student and my occasional problems with my hands not functioning quite right, though my own drops tend to be directly flat impacts either screen down or screen up.It's not a horrible case, but for the cost I hoped it would have at least lasted a year. I think if you're the super gentle type that doesn't drop their phone often or worry about it being knocked off a desk by a student or pet, then this could be a good option. Be forewarned though, it does pick up pet hair or fuzzy sweater debris easily.

Recording Looks great

This is my favorite style of phone cases for a few reasons. It provides serious protection without the bulkiness of other cases. It also won't fall apart when it falls since the hard plastic is tight under the silicone/rubber outer layer, so no hard plastic hits the ground when I drop my phone. The color is fun and bright; it can get dirty but I've had some luck with mr. clean foam to get the stains and dirt off of it. It doesn't come with a screen protector which is a plus for me because in my experience built-in screen protectors get dirt in between and actually scratched the screen. The charger flap broke off the first day lol, but I was going to get rid of it anyway because the tension it creates when the charging cable is plugged in causes it to bend the output end while inside the charging port; I cringe just thinking about it. The buttons work great; the back protects the camera lens against surface scratching. Overall, it has absolutely everything I want and need in a phone case.

My phone feels 1,000x safer in this case. Stylish, and cute while being heavy duty is a must for my phones.

This is a very durable case. I have dropped this multiple times and my phone wasn't damaged in those falls. Even the case doesn't show any damage from the falls it has taken. Overall, very happy with my purchase!

*** Update: The day after I wrote my review, the tab broke off completely. Obviously, wasn't as good as the original one I had purchased a few years ago by Otterbox ***I am a fanatic about protecting my expensive phones ($1650) and have always covered them as soon as I receive them before the first use. I purchased this case because it looked identical to the Otterbox brand that I always buy. It replaced one that the tab that protects the opening for charging from dust and dirt had begun to tear after a couple years of use. Unfortunately, this one has torn almost completely off after only a couple week's use. Very disappointed in that. Other than that, it is a very sturdy and very protective case. First, a hard plastic case protects the phone. The front is raised slightly so that if the phone is dropped on its side or front, it protects the screen from touching the ground and getting scratched or broken. The back piece of the hard case is lined with a thin foam lining for more protection. The outer layer is a thick silicone cover that is great for any drops or bangs. If you add a tempered glass screen protector, your phone will be like mine and look like brand new after several years of use. It is a very cheap insurance for your very expensive investment!

I drop my phone ALOT and this case holds up!

Side of the case is too close to the headphone jack to actually use the jack. The dust covers for the charging port and headphone jack are hard to open. Overall not a well thought out design.

OK

I was surprised at the sturdiness compared to brand I purchased from the store, especially for the price. Two things I didn't notice before purchase but would have reconsidered if I did notice, the charging port opens from top vs on the side and there is no cover for the pen. I know this isn't advertised as waterproof and I do not expect it to be, but I do prefer a cover over the s pen. I would still recommend to others. Not everyone is as finicky as I am.
